Tyson and Miles Turn ONE!

Tyson and Miles are my beautiful and handsome twin nephews. Twins run abundantly in my family. Rona and Adam - the boys' parents and my cousins - purchased a new home JUST in time to celebrate their very first birthday! Lots of people attended and I HAD to shoot friends and family I rarely see. There were attendants from all over Western Washington. Adam's from the Bay Area, CA, so his family made their multi-annual trip up to celebrate with us.







Like I stated earlier, I don't see them too much much, but when we get together, they know how to PARTY!!!

I've streamlined my workflow to minimize processing, allowing me to nurture the relationships I build with my subjects/customers. I LOVE IT!!! Not very many other photographers can offer that ;)

Rachel and Jaime Engagement Photos :)

Rachel and Jaime came in from California on Friday to spend time with family here in the Pacific Northwest. Since I'm shooting their wedding on 07/07/07, we decided to shoot their engagement photos while they were up here. We went to Redondo in Federal Way yesterday and it was AWESOME!!! With the water, private gazebo and blossoming roses (well, in the spring), I have a new place to shoot portraits :)

They're on a plane back to the Bay Area right now, but had a quick opportunity to check out their images online. YOU CAN TOO :)

We were supposed to shoot their engagement photos a couple weeks ago when I went down to Seaside, California, but because of my tight schedule, that fell through. We ALMOST weren't able to shoot yesterday because of the gloomy weather, but the rain held off and I busted out the Nikons for fun engagement shoot!

Rachel and Jaime are GREAT in front of the camera and both were fun to shoot. They take instruction constructively and that made this an awesome experience. We are going to have SO much fun shooting their wedding in California next Summer.

Danity Kane in Seattle

LEAH, LINDSEY, MOSES, and I had the opportunity this afternoon to meet Danity Kane at the KUBE 93.3 studio (click here for their WEBSITE and MYSPACE page). They are hosting a MYSPACE PARTY at Tabella's tonight and made a stop at Seattle's Number #1 Hit Music Station (LOL).

It was supposed to start at 3pm, but their entourage didn't arrive until about 4. It's okay -- it was well worth the wait. I wasn't really a fan of the group before coming. I just wanted to treat Lindsey, Moses and Leah with an opportunity of a lifetime. There were only about 15 of us in the studio with the Nighttime Diva, TIFFANY WARNER. She was a great hostess. We enjoyed our time and it was mostly because of her hospitality. Thank you Tiffany! The girls were awesome too! You can officially consider me a fan :)

Leaving Seaside, CA

Well, we're packing up. Check out's at noon, but we want to head outta here to roam around town and up to Salinas before we go to the 2nd party. Though we've had alot of time to rest and relax and such, there's not many touristy-type things to do around here. We went to the wharf, downtown and HISTORIC downtown. There was even supposed to be a music festival, but we couldn't find it... LOL

Anyway, here are some images from this weekend so far. ENJOY!
