We're in California

We just arrived at the Holiday Inn Express in Seaside (Monterey), CA.

We are right next to the Pacific Ocean. I'm going to snap a couple shots tonight and I'll post 'em when we get back.

We're going to eat dinner and walk around town a little bit. It's not a very big city, but there's ALOT going on at the Costco AND Target... LOL!!!

Now, time to rest up a little...

Jaime's *NEW* Headshots

I had the opportunity to shoot Jaime's headshots for his new marketing materials. He's a real estate agent, and with the ever-changing market, he decided to update his photos. I went over to his home to shoot his 3-month old daughter Jasmine and we figured it was an opportune time to shoot him as well. We've discussed it for a few weeks and last night, we finally did. Rose's Album is Complete!!!

Phew!!! They’re wedding was a week ago and I’m still exhausted from shooting SIXTEEN HOURS!!! It was well worth it though! We captured many BEAUTIFUL images. Everything about the wedding was amazing.

ALBUM DESIGN is a service I provide to my customers. Believe me, it takes a lot to build albums and frankly not everyone has that time to do so – that’s why not every photographer does it. I DO!!! I LOVE IT!!! It gives me an opportunity to present the photos uniquely and professionally. As a photographer, it’s not only my privedge but my RESPONSIBILITY to provide a product that my customers can cherish and share proudly for the rest of their lives!

I JUST finished ROSE AND DENNIS' album. Remember, this is a rough draft and Rose has the final say before this goes off to the printing presses.

Happy Birthday Jenni!

We all celebrated Jenni's birthday last night at MIZU JAPANESE STEAK HOUSE in Tukwila. I think it's my new favorite restaurant. They have habachi grills (just like BENIHANA) but I felt that the atmosphere was a lot more relaxed. The chefs come out and grill the food in front of you. Our chef, SEIKI, was awesome! He didn't mind me shooting his cooking and such, but he kept re-iterating that he didn't wanna see his mug on MYSPACE. He was more or less our dinner entertainment. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's definitely unique and the food is delicious. Here are some images from last night:

It's a Doozy!

I took the whole day off on Friday and Lindsey and I went to the PUYALLUP FAIR. This year's theme is "It's a Doozy!" and a Doozy it was. We ate a lot and, for the first time ever, strolled the WHOLE five acres of it! We were going to KAYAK Lake Union, but since it was the fair's opening day and admission was free for a limited time, it was totally a no-brainer :) It's nice to split town and get away for a while and reflect on what life is really about. The Puyallup Fair is a yearly event that everyone living in the Puget Sound area should experience. Check out some fun images of LINDSEY and me.

It's Our Anniversary!

She couldn’t wait until TODAY to show me what she’s created. Today’s Sept. 7th – LINDSEY and my anniversary (2). She was SOOOOO excited last night because she FINALLY finished this project after TWO WHOLE weeks (I think it was more than that). It’s an awesome slideshow of our relationship and shows exactly how goofy we can be together.

Lindsey fills a void in me that no one has ever filled and she has honestly been with me throughout all of my rollercoaster rides and never seems to want to get off. She’s amazing!!!

Anniversary Slideshow!

Getting Ready at Expo Salon

As promised, here are some "getting ready" images from the Expo Beauty Salon. I met Rose here at 7:30 yesterday morning. Some say it was early, but I thought it was well worth it. I shot hundreds of images at this location and it was a great starter to the day's events. At the end of it all, MOSES and LINDSEY had shot 16 folders-worth of images!!! That's insane for us, but GREAT for Rose and Dennis -- I've already started processing some of them and they look AMAZING!!! Amazing bride... Amazing venue(s)... AMAZING WEDDING!!!

It Came... and Went...

I JUST got home from shooting Rose and Dennis' wedding. I for the salon at 7am this monring and NINETEEN HOURS later, I'm home. LINDSEY, MOSES and I had an awesome time shooting today... I LOVE them to death and appreciate EVERYTHING they've done (and continue to do) for me. They're LIFESAVERS!

Anyway, I was thinking about processing those photos tonight, but fatigue has officially kicked in. I'll work on them tomorrow, so check back shortly for their AMAZING images.

Today's THE day

Rose and Dennis are getting married today. I feel like I'M getting married I'm so nervous, LOL... I get this way before every major event and realize once the day starts, it's not so bad. I think I'm feeling better already... I think I just needed the trusty blog to up my spirits... ahhhhhhh... and spirits... their UP'd!

Don't ever underestimate the power of the blog...

Now I gotta shoot a wedding...

Today is going to be an AWESOME DAY!!!

It's tomorrow

Rose and Dennis are getting hitched tomorrow -- gotta love the last-minute preparation. I just have a few more (minor) things to do before tomorrow, but we're pretty much ready to shoot. All big events like this give me the eeby-jeeby's but, like the good 'ol football days, once the day's here, I put my game face on and get on the field ready to play -- and WIN!.
