Braganza Family portrait session

Here you go, as promised... Just a taste of what we shot Sunday. This is by far the largest group I've formally positioned and photographed -- Definately not the last :) It was quite the challenge coordinating everyone's positioning on the boulders and the late afternoon sun posed a potential problem for all of those white shirts (OHHHHH). But everyone cooperated (no matter how sharp those rock faces were, LOL) and the final images turned out great!!! Thanks to all the "cousins" for this amazing opportunity to share my passion... Love you guys!!!

Braganza Cousin Photoshoot teaser

I had the privilege and opportunity yesterday to shoot the world-famous Braganza family. Well, this generation at least! Braganza’s are everywhere around the world – they’re a HUGE family. It was a challenge trying to position and coordinate 15 people ranging in ages on boulders. They had to maneuver their way up, down and around the rocks at Salt Water State Park. And you know what? They turned out GREAT!!! With my new RAW workflow, I’m about 90% done processing them!!! A huge photo shoot like this would have taken me the whole week – but now it’s been cut down to more than half of that time, leaving me more time to hang out with the group and play beach volleyball ;) And played, we did!!!

Rachel and Jaime

I just got a "rough" confirmation this week from Rachel that she wants Moses, Lindsey and me to shoot her wedding on 7/7/07 -- in SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA!!! This will be our first (and DEFINATELY not last) destination wedding. I'm pulling out ALL the stops for Rachel -- I can't tell you EXACTLY what we're doing (what's the fun of that?) But, I CAN tell you that ONE of the services includes a "photobooth" (you'll just have to wait to find out what that is).

Rachel and I go way back. Her brother, Adam, married my cousin, Rona, so that makes us cousin-in-laws, I guess. I started shooting at about the same time she and Jaime got engaged and the rest was history.

I'll be sending her my contract later this week so it will be OFFICIAL. I can tell you this... WE are OFFICIALLY STOKED to fly down to Cali for this wonderful occasion!

Until then, I'll be searching online for flights and hotel accomodations for three (or more, if anyone else would like to join us). They're getting married at the Hilton (ceremony AND reception). I'll let you know when we touchdown and where we'll stay and maybe you can join us...

We're a little more than a month away from Rose and Dennis wedding (Sept. 3rd) and I'm getting SOOOOOOOOO excited to shoot it. Today, I built ANOTHER slideshow for them with music and all. Rose and Dennis

Rose and Dennis are a local couple and are getting married in September. Moses and I shot their engagement session on Sunday. They were great! Very open-minded to our ideas, what to shoot and the like. They made it really easy for Lindsey to pose them. What a beautiful couple!

I can't wait to shoot their wedding at Sunset Hill Park in North Seattle and The Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Downtown Seattle -- both beautiful locations for portraits!
